Why is it that so many families seem to love each other, but when it come to respecting each other they have so many problems. A friend of mine right now is having problems and trying to keep it a secret from her family because she feels that the will judge her! What is judging? I always feel that if someone comes and talks to me and I give my opinion it is not judging just because I don't agree with you!
Family should be there for each other, and if you need help don't be afraid to ask! Just because things are not going right in your life does not give you the right to blame everyone in your family! You can make a change in your life and feel good about the change! If your family gives you advise that you don't want to hear, respect the opinion, but the final choice is yours.
My friend is regretting not letting her son stay in juvenile detention when he was younger he broke the law and now he is in his 20's and can't keep a job! If she wouldn't have rescued him from detention he would have finished school and had a diploma.( They make you do that!) He got out never went back to school and now is stealing to make his life better...My only advice now to her can be if he goes to jail at least he will have a roof over his head and you will know that he will be eating. If she would have asked before, I probably won't have had such foresight! who would have ever thought that letting your children pay for their mistakes might be better for their future than trying to rescue them when they are young!
